Thank you for allowing me to be part of your midsummer fairytale.

This was such a dreamy wedding; I could not get enough of the beauty. What’s more, is the bride DIY’d ALL the decor!! Everything from the gorgeous cake stands, to centerpieces, to bouquet was handmade. And then there is the fact that the gorgeous couple got married at such a gorgeous venue. I am so excited to get to show off these portraits!
This beautiful July wedding took place at Panther’s Creek Camp and Lodge in Farmersville, TX. Texas heat was greatly overpowered by the sheer fairyland elegance this couple brought to their special day. Seriously perfect!
One could not have asked for a more lovely day to have a wedding as when Erica and Terry tied the knot at the Bingham House– a perfect backdrop to display the sweetness of this couple and their amazing and lovely girls. They are one of those couples that fit together so comfortably, so lovingly, that you could never imagine them ever having been apart. Not just in a peanut butter and jelly kind of way, but in a sun to sunshine kind of way. And seriously, their girls were the best! Gorgeous, kind, and absolutely hilarious! Can’t tell you how many times I was trying to hold my camera still while laughing.
So happy I could be a part of their day to document all the gorgeousness!
A Disney Princess, that is what Angie wanted to be on her dreamy wedding day. Let me spoil it now for you: she raised the bar for Princesses everywhere. Everything from the tiara to the sparkles on the dress made her the most glamorous gem matched only by her enchanting persona.
The fabulous day started off with hair and make up for her and her bridesmaid and was followed immediately by a fun quick tribute to books and fairytales (and looking amazing) in a nearby books store.
Such a fabulous entourage
And then the fairytale really began
The day was gorgeous while I waited outside at the Shops at Legacy for Nozomi to arrive for her bridal portraits. When she arrived and stepped out of the car in front of the Marriott, I couldn’t helped but be dazzled! Such a beautiful bride!
The Shops provided a fabulously chic settings which fit her perfectly. We started inside the Marriott and then worked our way around the lake and Bishop Road, nothing but gorgeousness and sunshine the whole way.
Oh just stop with the perfection!! This girl is just naturally chic.
Loved this shoot so much! Special thanks to Nozomi and her family for the fantastic dinner they invited me to afterwords! Totally would not mind at all if every shoot ended with calamari.
I scrolled through pages and pages of CD cases looking for that perfect case to encase the loveliness that is the brides wedding photos. It took a while because I had some critiera I wanted to meet: could not be cheap or plastic and had to have an elegant crafty feel.
Ashley from PeachLinen had the perfect choice for me! I love her simple elegant style, and the quick way she can modify a product for her costumers.
Allow me to present the brand new CD case to hold your wedding photos
I am in LOVE with this wedding! Everything was done so beautifully; it was thrilling. Carri has a real eye for style, and it shown brightly on her big day. From the soft pinks of the florals, to fantastically fitted green bride’s maids dresses, and to the trendy diy wooden signs, everything flowed to perfection.
It was hard to believe the day had finally arrived! I was honored to do their engagement photos just months before, and now the day had come. Everyone was so ecstatic! Even as the bride entered her bridal sweet, some of her relatives, the flower girls, and her brides maids were greeting her with excited well wishes and hugs.
The ceremony and reception took place at the gorgeous Ashton Gardens on a bright Saturday morning in July.
Those eyes, girl!! So gorgeous!
Loved this get away! So much joy!
I just had to, had to, include this photo of the dudes getting ready at the beginning of the day. Too fabulous.
Finally half way through the week! I hope everyone is having a fantastic one so far! Mine has been productive…which means I am getting engulfed in editing and then suddenly crashing at about 9 PM like the old person I am.
Here’s a little glimpse at the loveliness I’m working on this week. Can’t wait to post it the wedding photos!!
If you have followed me for a while, you have heard me mention the amazing Marie! She has been there from almost the beginning and is the one who designed my logo and fashioned this website.
A few years ago, this amazing lady met Francis.
She had a boyfriend already, and while Francis was interested in Marie, she was very firm that they were just friends. Francis didn’t beg, begrudge, or budged, he just bidded his time being as best a friend as he could.
Then one day, the story took a twist.
Marie hadn’t forgotten the Francis liked her, and he had been patient. Now the time had finally come that Marie could say yes to Francis’ interest.
With love kindled, they struck the most precious romance I think I have ever seen.
Finally
At the beginng of this year, Francis proposed to Marie.
She said yes!!
I am honored to take her bridal portraits!
Here’s a few from the wedding too…I couldn’t help myself! Too lovely!!
